Estan Bolo en Nicaragua

Foods galore, warm lake water, sweet Nicaraguan pastries, folklore performances at the Ruben Dario Teatro, bartering with an old artisan lady and snagging authentic Nicaraguan art pieces, renewing our love for Raspados Loli, partying with friends and family until the sun rose at Las Conchas Negras, wandering through the long/dark pathways in Montelimar at two in the morning to get to the beach only to find out everything was pitch black and pretty scary, sipping on coconut juice while dripping in sweat, tanning or should I say baking under the immense sun rays, drinking way too many shots of cute fruity adult drinks, divine sushi and trying hot Saki for the first time at Sushitto, french crepes at La Margarita,  rekindling our relationship with my much adored cousins, meeting new people, having conversations with a random Canadian dude, loads of cajetas and rosquillas, becoming a god mother, overloading on authentic Nicaraguan bags/ shoes/ jewelry/art and blankets from Massaya, and doing things that must not be heard of by anyone but those who were a part of it are just a few of the many fun/crazy/ fulfilling events that took place in this whirlwind adventure...Nicaragua 2011.
